The Backstory

Hayley and Andy’s love story began in 2020 when the pair first met at work, forming an instant connection that would eventually lead them to celebrate their wedding surrounded by the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales.

In a wonderfully unconventional twist, the couple planned their wedding before officially becoming engaged, with Hayley booking the venue before later proposing to Andy once all of the arrangements had been made.

Special Touches

During the newlyweds’ celebrations, a power cut at Yorebridge House meant their original wedding breakfast plans had to quickly change. However, thanks to the incredible kitchen team, what could have been a stressful situation was effortlessly turned into another memorable part of the day.

Thinking quickly on their feet, the team created a delicious alternative dining experience centred around a beautifully prepared duck dish, which proved to be every bit as incredible as the meal originally planned. The calm and attentive approach from the entire team at Yorebridge House ensured the atmosphere remained relaxed and joyful throughout, allowing Hayley and Andy to simply enjoy every moment of their celebration together.

The Wedding Dress & The Suit

Hayley looked stunning in a fit-and-flare gown from The Wedding Room Scarborough, featuring a plunging neckline, delicate lace appliqués and a low back with intricate button detailing flowing into a dramatic train. Elegant and timeless, the dress perfectly suited the romantic atmosphere of the day while allowing Hayley’s personal style to shine through beautifully.

The bridal look was completed with a sleek low bun, styled with a delicate silver and pearl hairpiece alongside understated silver jewellery for a soft and sophisticated finish. Complementing the look perfectly, the floral arrangements featured an elegant selection of white roses, hydrangeas, stocks, and lisianthus.

Andy wore a beige three-piece suit, also from The Wedding Room, paired with a crisp white shirt and pale green tie for a classic yet relaxed look that suited the Spring season perfectly. Finished with tan brogues and a white rose and lisianthus boutonniere, the groom’s styling tied beautifully into his bride’s look and the overall aesthetic of the day.
