Description

Just a 10-minute drive from Yorebridge House, Aysgarth Falls is one of the most picturesque and popular natural attractions in the Yorkshire Dales. Made up of three stepped waterfalls on the River Ure, the falls are set within a peaceful stretch of ancient woodland with well-maintained walking paths that make them easy to explore year-round.

Guests can enjoy a short circular walk taking in all three falls – Upper, Middle and Lower – or connect with the longer Wensleydale trails that pass through the surrounding countryside. The falls are especially impressive after rainfall when the river flows with dramatic force.

There is also a National Park Visitor Centre nearby with a café and useful facilities, making this a convenient and rewarding outing. The location is famous for appearing in the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

Aysgarth Falls is ideal for walkers, photographers and anyone looking to experience the rugged beauty of the Dales in a peaceful and accessible setting.
